Bryn Evans is a journalist and arts critic based in Calgary, Alberta. He was a long-time writer and editor for the magazine Fast Forward Weekly. Once upon a time he wrote a lot of film reviews. Now, he works in the disability field, having recently completed an MA in equity studies. He has served as past board member and president of M:ST (Mountain Standard Time) Performative Arts Festival and the Quickdraw Animation Society. He now fulfills his love of movies as a programmer for the Calgary Underground Film Festival. His all-time favourite movie is Alex Cox’s Repo Man, which he watches every other month or so.
